This week on the podcast we kick off Series 1 of Cosmic Crit 2.0 with a fully fleshed out set of rules for drafting player characters (Ancestries, Background and Classes) in Starfinder 2nd Edition.
To avoid folks fighting over what class they will play, and to make it less likely to choose character options that they made in Seasons 1-5, we are drafting characters this time around. But when the Vesk statue attacks and the heroes have little to no means of damaging it will they stay in fight or beat a retreat from that pesky Vesk? The Ghost Level explorers are sure that they will need to power the elevator to stand any chance at leaving this extradimensional space, so they set out for the dimly lit corridors. When they enter a workman’s office what they find is dripping goop from the ceilings down on them. Will they survive a five round fight with an ooze beast or will this be the last episode of Cosmic Crit 2.0?!
The Absalom Adventurers find themselves stuck in a multidimensional malfunctioning robot, so that means another long commute to their job. When they finally get the doors open though they’ve accessed the fabled Ghost Levels of the space station, and in seeking advice from a security robot promptly get attacked for their troubles, all that and more action on this week’s Cosmic Crit 2.0!
