Cosmic Crit’s ‘Create a Season 2 NPC Challenge’

Over a year ago we had our first listener submission challenge, and we are back with the same NPC theme for December 2018. We want to allow you to immortalize a Non-Player Character (NPC) of your own creation into the Season 2 adventure of the ‘Cosmic Crit’ show. This challenge will have you make up an NPC, Villain, or some other Character of your own design. If we select it to be on the podcast, we will gift you a copy of the Starfinder Roleplaying Game PDF from Paizo.com or an equavalent awesome prize!

Character Guidelines:

When making your NPC:

• Make sure that you provide a name and/or nickname
• Express their preferred pronouns
• Give some details about their race and job
• Write as much of a small biography as you’d like
• And, finally, give us any extra details about how they act, sound or present themselves.

In season 2 the players will meet a lot of planetary colonists, space station grifters, and all kinds of alien bounty hunters, so your NPC can be anything in between! You make it up, with the limits being your own imagination! Please use the following format below for submissions:

Guidelines for Submitting:

• By submitting to this challenge, you are giving us the right to use your submitted character’s name, description and personality on Cosmic Crit in our actual play game. Furthermore, you have to promise you won’t feel bad if they get killed, maimed, or thrown out of an air-lock.
• To receive a gift for your selected NPC submission, you must have an active Paizo account and provide that  after we use your character on the show. Please include how you would like to be contacted and credited for your winning submission.
• You can submit multiple times, but if we use 10 of your submissions, you still only get a single gift of the Starfinder Core Rulebook. This challenge is ongoing until we pick 3 NPCs or gift three items.
• Please don’t submit anything offensive, inappropriate for a general audience or distasteful. Keep it PG-13.
