Cosmic Crit’s “Holiday Bonanza!” Competition

As we near the holiday season, we here at Cosmic Crit want to help spread the joy and wonder that comes with each holiday celebrated this time of year throughout the world. So for this month’s fan challenge, we are going to help spread holiday culture throughout the Pact Worlds by creating some special Holidays. Start by picking a planet, moon, or station that exists with the Pact Worlds and then start crafting any kind of holiday. It can be a harvest holiday, religious holiday, or even a holiday created out of a cultural superstition.

Entry Guidelines

The Holiday – Your new holiday should be something that all the inhabitants of the Pact World can celebrate. No one likes a holiday that can only be celebrated by 6 folks in their parents basement. It should also represent or expand on cultural elements already present on its home planet. Akitonian residents might celebrate the Crimson Sand Festival, a tribute to all warriors who fell in the grand arena. Triaxians could participate in a week long celebration of the coming summer after decades of winter during the Balefire Melt holiday.

The History – What is your holiday all about? How did it begin? What are some historical moments that have happened since its inception? Is it celebrated throughout the planet or is it more of a regional holiday? What are some traditions that surround the holiday?

Prizes

At the end of the month, the Crew will vote on which holiday they want to celebrate the most. The grand winners holiday will be featured in Cosmic Crit’s Holiday special episode. Two runner ups will receive a [super shout out].
