But their plans take an unexpected turn when they encounter screams piercing the air, drawing our heroes into a perilous encounter with a pack of airborne Flithounds attacking an elven woman.

In this thrilling installment, the “Founding Five” stumble upon more than seismic energy at an isolated outpost when they discover a mysterious body submerged in quicksand. After burying the body, they head off to check out a herd of stag bears. Intent on collecting samples, the team finds themselves in a heart-stopping race against time when a seismic tremor triggers a stampede, threatening not only their lives but the very equipment crucial to their colony’s survival. Tune in as the Cosmic Crit crew faces danger head-on in a cosmic rollercoaster of suspense and discovery!

Reunited at last, the Founding Five venture out to investigate an outpost that has lost transmission to Veridian Colony. Later, they help a couple work through some marital strife.

The party is split, with Jamphram and Praedir healing and doing some self-discovery in the process on Absalom Station. Meanwhile, back at Veridian Colony, Asher & Skye have big shoes to fill as they take on the duties of Prime Executive (with a little help from their friends) and keep up the community’s progress in Praedir’s absence.
