Well-rested and ready, the Drift Rider crew sets off to investigate the mysterious Sivv tower that has emerged from beneath the surface of Jadarat. Flying around the tower in the Drift Rider, they see that it is spiral-shaped, and they decide to jump from the ship to the top floor of the tower. They discover the first clues about a bantrid named Ofie and a ship called the Worldseed, but their investigation is interrupted by a formidable foe!

The Drift Rider crew emerge from the underground Sivv laboratory and find that a mysterious tower that has appeared seemingly out of no where. But just as they’re preparing to get some shut eye before heading out to inspect it, they must board the Drift Rider to fend off some Sivv drones. It’s time for some starship combat!

The crew finally uncovers the secret room the Kasathan scientist had told them about, but they’re surprised to find that very Kasathan somehow in the room, too. The crew is torn on what to do about a moral quantum conundrum.

It’s a comedy — or trajedy? — of errors as mass confusion abounds and the Drift Rider crew struggle against their irradiated foes.
