Well-rested and ready, the Drift Rider crew sets off to investigate the mysterious Sivv tower that has emerged from beneath the surface of Jadarat. Flying around the tower in the Drift Rider, they see that it is spiral-shaped, and they decide to jump from the ship to the top floor of the tower. They discover the first clues about a bantrid named Ofie and a ship called the Worldseed, but their investigation is interrupted by a formidable foe!
